Please try again later.it does not require 4 d batteries.. it comes with its own proprietary rechargeable battery which the solar panel charges.. i own this.. but it has slots for two of those batteries but only comes with one so you would have to buy the second one for longer lighting time in the dark.. also does not hook up to smart lighting unless you buy the hub seperately..

The Ring Smart Lighting Solar Floodlight is powered by a Ring Quick Release Battery Pack (1 included, can hold 2) and is charged with a Ring solar panel (included) or Micro USB charging cable (included).
