Hi Moose, Ring Spotlight Cam Battery does not require plugging in for connection. The Spotlight Cam Battery has the ability to hold two Ring battery packs for long-lasting battery life. You don’t need any power!! It’s battery operated!! Only need power when you are charging the battery!!
