Hey John, that is a loaded question. The reason is because it will all depend on your router, and if you have what they call a repeater or an extender. That has very little to do with this system as a whole. It all depends on what the ranges for your router, extender, repeater depending on how far your barn is as well as if there are any obstacles in between them.
