A:AnswerYes, there is a dog barking ring choice on the Ring Chime Pro. I assume it would be the same on the Ring Chime as well. You can adjust the ring differently for motion and for press of the doorbell. It is easy to change the rings. Unfortunately the volume level applies to both cases, so you can't change the volume individually for motion and doorbell press. There is a way to add shared users. I don't know for sure, but I would suspect that your husband could download the app and be added as a shared user via email.
A:AnswerHi Vie,
Great question.
In case of a power outage, your Ring device should automatically reconnect once power is restored.

A:AnswerHi Brad,
Thanks for writing me.
Our optional cloud service plan for $3/month allows you to access/download/share past Ring videos. Without this service, you'll still receive real-time video alerts on your smartphone as well as have access to Live View.
Thanks,

A:AnswerI have the Ring DoorBell 2 and that is all you need. The view wide lens is good enough. I put mine little high and it has a good view you be surprise. Try it and tell me what you think.
A:AnswerI posted incorrect dimensions before.
The correct dimensions for the ring v2 are
5.05 x 2.50 x 1.08 inches
*The other dimensions were for the first gen ring
A:AnswerYou get a 30-day free trial to test out the service then after that there is a $3 a month fee or a flat $30yr fee. Saving $6 if you pay the yearly fee. It's by far the cheapest service fee for these types of cams/doorbells.
A:AnswerComes with a built in chime but it's kinda hard to hear from outside. If you have an Alexa or Google device though you can use them as a chime if you download the app. I have 4 Alexa devices around my house and they're all set up to go off if someone rings my door bell.
A:AnswerYes but you have to make sure your WiFi reaches. Do a speed test on google out in the area. If your WiFi doesn’t reach I would go with an Eero router.
A:AnswerPro can be used if you have a dedicated power source, like an existing doorbell. I own both the Ring Pro, front door, and Ring 2 (two side gates). Biggest challenge I had with the Pro is the WiFi connection. It was very weak so I am wondering if the WiFi card in the pro is perhaps not as powerful as the Ring 2. I purchased a WiFi satellite and positioned it closer to the Ring Pro. No issues any longer. Highly recommend Ring Pro or Ring 2.
A:AnswerSame problem. It's noted at Ring as a "known problem." I spent an hour on the phone with their tech without resolution. It was elevated to the next support level. No response in 48 hours and counting. It's disappointing.
A:AnswerYes. Wherever you buy ring products (bell, cams, sensors...etc) you have to subscribe to ring recording and protection plan for $10 a month ($100 a year).
