“Can the ring pro tolerate a 24 vac transformer ? I found a tri-pole transformer at Home Depot that offers either 16 vac - 10 va; or 24 vac - 20 va. Thanks !”

The Ring video doorbell Pro documentation says that it will handle a 24v transformer. Check the documentation and make sure the amperage isn't too high.

Yes, the box shows 16-24VAC. DC transformers are not compatible. See photo of the side of my box.

The device should tolerate 24 volts but Ring states 16 volts at 30 va is preferred.
