• No you don't need anything besides a wireless network (WiFi), you just connect your Ring to your WiFi and it starts uploading the videos, you can also subscribe to Ring for $3/Month, so that you can store videos.

• Alexia is not needed. It can be used to arm the alarm system (a separate purchase). It is intended to work with your cell phone.
