Yes, you are able to control multiple doorbells and cameras within the Ring app and with a Ring Protect Plan in place on both devices you could access past video footage with up to 60 days of cloud based storage.     • Answer This particular model has 2 posts on the back plate. The 2 wires from your old door bell just hook directly to those posts. Order of wires does not matter.

    • Answer No, it does not need batteries. Wired means it is powered by a wire, like all old doorbells used to be. It does require a transformer to step down the power because it does not operate on 120 volts. Your old transformer may work if you are replacing an older wired doorbell but I would check that the voltage is correct for this doorbell.
