  • QuestionHello. I have a front & back door. Do you have a package that provides 2 cameras and the functionality that it would require (Answering people at the back door, being able to toggle between views (front & back), storage of footage from both?

    Asked by Joseph.

    • Answer Hello Joseph, good questions! No, we do not offer a bundle package that has two doorbell devices in it. They would need to be purchased individually. Yes, you are able to control multiple doorbells and cameras within the Ring app and with a Ring Protect Plan in place on both devices you could access past video footage with up to 60 days of cloud based storage. Here is a helpful article regarding the Ring Protect Plan options available to you: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001671383-General-Information-on-Ring-Protect-Subscription-Plans. • QuestionHow does this work with my chime i already have. Are there directions for getting it to work with my old chime

    Asked by vp.

    • Answer Battery Ring models will work with existing door chime. Most Wired Ring models will not because the wiring to the unit is no longer an open-closed loop to ring the chime, but converted to feed needed transformer power to operate the Ring camera. Ring does offer a separate Blue Tooth device to get around this problem. It can be purchased separately or packaged with certain Ring models. If you have an Alexi device (I use the Echo Show 5) this also can be used to solve the problem.

  • QuestionMy internet is only Walmart Straight Talk phone. I have no router. Can I connect Ring to my phone?

    Asked by CODYCAT.

    • Answer Probably not. The Ring Door Bell communicates with your phone and the Ring App by way of an internet router.

  • QuestionDoes this doorbell ring the existing chime as well as signal your phone?

    Asked by Butch.

    • Answer Hi Butch. We appreciate the time you have taken to ask this question. The Ring Video Doorbell Wired requires existing doorbell wiring for power supply. However, the Ring Video Doorbell Wired does not sound your existing doorbell chime. To hear audio alerts in your home, pair with a Ring Chime, compatible Alexa device, or select the Video Doorbell Wired + Chime bundle. A Ring Wired Doorbell Plus or Ring Wired Doorbell Pro can be connected to an existing, compatible chime kit for power and to trigger your existing chime when someone presses the doorbell button. • QuestionMy doorbell is a perpendicular to my door how can I angle my ring in the direction that I need. Does ring make something to fix this ? If so where can I get it and if not what can I do ?

    Asked by Ryan.

    • Answer Ring does provide a plastic angle device in order to reposition slightly the view of the camera. Because of the extreme wide-angle view provided by the camera most would find only a minor adjustment is all that is needed. I shifted the angle slightly by placing a length of wiring under one side of the camera before securing the two provided screws.

    Asked by Cathy.

    • Answer Hi Cath. Thank you for your question today! The Ring doorbells and camera's are designed with a dyi setup in mind. With this in mind, Ring doesn't offer a first party installation onsite support. There are a few third party installation support companies you can contact.
