A:AnswerWith the wired Ring you can use your existing doorbell chime. The small receiver for it is wired into your existing doorbell chime. It’s possible you may have to replace your doorbell transformer if you have a very very old house but this works fine for most transformers
A:AnswerHello Awesome,
The Ring Video Doorbell Pro is 4.5in. x 1.85in. x 0.80in.(11.43cm x 4.7cm x 2.03 cm). Installation of the Ring Pro is intended to be a relatively easy process. The Ring Pro requires a power source that supplies a minimum of 16 volts AC at ~20 volt-amps when connected directly to a transformer, Ring Plug-in Adapter, or ~30 volt-amps when used with an internal doorbell.
Ring Pro is a hardwired solution that replaces traditional doorbells and connects to existing doorbell wiring. With an ultra-slim design, 1080HD video and advanced features, Video Doorbell Pro offers superior security with a simple setup.

A:AnswerI saw this on the web site but when I installed the ring doorbell my chime would not work. Installer said there was not enough voltage to operate the chime properly. I am going to add a 24 volt transformer to see if that helps if not I will return the rind doorbell.
A:AnswerYes, you could use your existing chime which is how I’m setup now with the Ring Doorbell Pro. If you own other Amazon device e.g. firetv, firestick, or echo, these product can be link to receive chimes and notifications.
