Please note that this model is not compatible with existing mechanical or digital in-home chimes. For indoor chime notifications, a Chime Kit Mini is included in the box and you can also use a Ring Chime or Chime Pro.

A:AnswerSame boat here! I will not be able to change my other camera because it will allow me to see farther into the sidewalk, street, as I like to see what is going by and the occasional thief.
I am hoping they can do a software update and allow longer range. It can pick up the LARGE Trash trucks....but I need to see the cars and people like I used to.

A:AnswerI found this on google. I have the Chime Pro. Yes, you can absolutely use a Ring Chime Pro (any generation) with a Ring Video Doorbell 3rd Gen (like the Doorbell 3, Doorbell 4, or Wired Pro 3rd Gen, but note the Wired models need a Chime Kit/Pro for internal sound), as all Ring Chimes work with all Ring doorbells and cameras to give you audio alerts inside your home, with the Chime Pro also boosting your Wi-Fi signal for better range.
A:AnswerOriginally I heard 24V, but I went to Ace Hardware and they said you can use 18V. Im upset because I need and adapter to install my ring 4k 3rd generation and quess what my installation is completely new, so I need a 24ft length adapter 24V..and looks like it doesnt exist..and I'm not buying outside the US, read reviews and were not good..So Ring not everyone has a ready made installation.. i know you have a 10ft adapter thats not going to work atleast not for me..So what's next, how do we solve this problem.
