That's what interested me in purchasing the TIVO. The answer is that TIVO offers some of the major streaming apps, except for Sling. Because of that we got the Tivo for recording other apps and local TV and kept ROKU for use with Sling. This reduced out monthly cable or DirectTv cost by $80 per month, when purchasing the Internet/Phone (only) and having the TIVO , in conjunction with the ROKU for the Sling App.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Short answer - No. Long answer - you might be able to use the "analog loophole" with a Roku Express+ or other Roku with analog out and an RF modulator, but the quality will suck.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I feel your pain, fellow grandpa. If you already have a streaming device, I recommend PlayStation Vue. They have a cloud based DVR and as long as you have good internet, it works quite well. I'm paying $45 a month and it includes ESPN and my local teams on Comcast Sportnet. Notable channels not included: PBS,CW,A&E,and the History channel.
