• The Tivo Roamio from Best Buy includes the channel service fee from Tivo with purchase. I only had to type in the number from the back of the Tivo and provide my zip code. Once the Tivo was plugged in and set up to the internet via wifi it downloaded the local TV Guide for my zip code.

• If you buy this Tivo, its free. If you buy any other Tivo, its $14.99 a month? But make sure you activate the first BEFORE, you to set it up. Took me 3 days to figure out that i should follow directions.

• Roamio's now include "All In Service Plan" which means no additional service fee. Best Buy website should state this but doesn't. You can verify on Tivo website. Tivo Bolt does have service fee. Don't know why Tivo treats the two products differently with respect to service.
