The TiVo Roamio has 4 independent tuners.

This TiVo Roamio OTA unit has 4 tuners, not one. (Best Buy needs to change this in the description.) Per the TiVo website, they do NOT make a Roamio OTA unit with only one tuner. You cannot watch a 5th channel while recording 4 shows though, unless you have another input on your TV to which you can switch. I have split the incoming antenna signal to do this and it works just fine.

Different Tivos have different numbers of tuners. I have bought 4 Romio ATA and Basic devices and a Bolt and they all have 4 tuners. I am not aware of any modern Tivo with less than 4.

It's only one tuner and AirTV has no plans to give us additional tuners, either through USB or networked devices.
