Also on the end of the cables sometimes there is a plastic or rubber protector, if you do not remove them the the cable will not go in all the way.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I know it doesn't look like it, but the cables come with a tiny, tight fitting cap on both ends. Simply grab the very tip of the cable and pull hard. The caps should come off allowing you to plug the cable firmly in place. I had the same problem. For some reason they seem to have felt the need to make the protective caps look just the bare end of the cable. Don't be fooled.
