I had that issue initially until I realized that you have to pull off the clear rubber caps. I wish they provided instructions for those of us not used to working with optical cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HK makes several different sound bars. I would look at the specific model. However, I couldn't imagine that it wouldn't. Make sure that you take off the end caps on the cables (don't laugh, I've seen others forget to do this). Also, I google everything. put a description of your product and problem, and several possibilities come up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try taking the protective clear caps off the ends.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I route everything thru my receiver. The receiver then designates where to send the sound. For instance, not all of my speakers play when music is streaming. I set it up to only play the recessed ceiling speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Cable comes with caps to protect the ends - make sure you remove them. Also, one side of the connector is flat - make sure the cable end is properly rotated to match the flat on the sound bar input. You might need a flashlight to look closely at the input - there's a little flap over the input connector, but its shape is the same as the hole behind it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should hook up with your soundbar, optical cable ports are universal. Make sure you take the cover off the optical cable (I literally had to use my teeth to take it off when I hooked up mine - just be careful!). Depending on what you're trying to get to make sound, it's easiest to hook up the soundbar to the TV with the optical cable, and then hook up everything else (game stations, cable box, DVD player, etc) to the TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use this with my soundbar, just have to change the input on the soundbar to reflect t that the auxiliary cord is hooked up to it, doesn't happen automatically on mine
