QuestionI guess I just don't understand what the point is of having charging contacts on the battery, if they're not going to provide you with a cover that has a hole to use those contacts? It kiiinda fits the default cover, but it's snug and it's clearly forced.

- Answer For cost savings the same battery is manufactured as the one that comes in the kit with the covers and cradle charger. This one just comes by itself, and could be used either as a replacement or as a standalone battery. I had no issues fitting the default cover over the contacts on the battery.

- Answer Put the battery in the controller and plug the power cord inside the controller it will change after charge unplug cord it will charge as you play the game

- Answer The battery does not have a charging status indicator. You can install the battery in the controller and connect the charging cable to any USB power source.

- Answer I'm having the same problem. The controller shows that it is in low battery but when I leave it plugged in to charge it only goes up to half charge, or at least is what it shows in my Xbox series s. I have 2 of this batteries and both have the same issue.
