How do u charge the battery null

Easy, you plug in the xbox controller with a usc charger, it works like a charm!

It attaches to the front of the console

Put the battery in the controller the plug in the usb cable with the proper usb end (the newer controllers use usb c cables - older controllers use a different connector) and plug the larger usb connecter in either a usb power adapter or the adapter on the console. Best Buy sells the cables or cables can be purchased from Amazon (The charging cables from Samsung phones that have usb c connections can be used, but it would be difficult to use the controller while charging)
