Any TV with both an HDMI input AND a USB port to power the device - you can use a cell phone's USB power plug if there's no USB. Probably need a longer mini-usb to USB cable to reach a power outlet. Alternatively you might want to consider the Roku Express+ version that supports the older TV's using composite (RCA) connections. There are two more concerns for Hotels: (1) Making a WiFi internet connection since the mid to high end Hotels use proxy servers to restrict Free access to only registered guests. You will have to contact the specific hotel to find out their WiFi service supports devices that do not have a web browser. Alternative solution - using your smart phone as WiFi hot spot - not recommended unless you are already paying for unlimited Data. (2) whether you can access the TV function to change input sources - I recommend bringing a universal remote with an input source selection button. Good luck!
