“See inside when on With a mirrored door it would seem impossible to see inside when on. Does the light go on? A number of reviewers say "difficult" to see inside. Is the food visible?”

• The food isn't as visible as most microwaves unless you shut all the lights off. I don't specifically stare at my food when it's heating up. So I didn't mind the mirrored door when I purchased it. But if you indeed like to make sure your food is always visible from a distance, I would advise against getting this.

• I will answer my own question. You can see inside with limited visibility. The light goes on when running but it is dark; however, there is enough visibility to see if something is boiling over.

• When the microwave is in use a dim light does come on so that the inside is visible, without being completely see through. When the microwave is not in use its not sew through.

• I have not had a problem, it is like a 2 way mirror, and it does light well enough if you want to watch your food go around!

• With all one way mirrors depends on lighting. In dark kitchen the light in oven makes it easy to see food. In a light kitchen as in my case window across from oven it is more difficult to see in during the day.
