So I didn't mind the mirrored door when I purchased it. But if you indeed like to make sure your food is always visible from a distance, I would advise against getting this.

A:AnswerIt does rotate and you can't turn it off. That's not a bug, it's a feature. The turntable rotates in order to cook the food evenly. Without it you would get spots overcooked and spots undercooked..
