It does rotate and you can't turn it off. That's not a bug, it's a feature. The turntable rotates in order to cook the food evenly. Without it you would get spots overcooked and spots undercooked..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does always rotate but we have a rice blanket that heats up in the microwave and is troublesome with the turntable so our solution has been to take the turntable and ring out and place a shallow bowl upside-down over the turning mechanism. This allows the mechanism to turn freely without binding up the blanket. You could use this same method for cooking by putting your plate or dish on top of the upside-down bowl.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, there is no way to stop it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Kenny Mo, The MG14H3020CM does not have the option of turning the turntable off, and Samsung doesn't recommend operating the Microwave without the turntable installed. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've never used a Samsung microwave, but, if it's anything like the Sharp brand you can remove the platter and use without! I have found from over 30 years of microwaves, food cooks more evenly with the turntable! You never need to stop the cooking process and rotate the food!! Hope this helps!
