I'm not sure about the enhancement feature but it's got all kinds of settings treble base it has settings for watching movies listening to music etc. I can tell you this this thing is really loud without distorting it sounds like you are in a big theater I hooked it right up to my Samsung 32" smart TV I was definitely impressed with how much it did enhance the overall sound quality of the TV. Me personally I don't think that you can go wrong with this unit I would buy it again and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to give their entertainment system a sound upgrade. I hope that this helps with your decision. I was able to turn the volume all of the way UPPPP as far as it will go nice and clear, clean sound. This thing Rocks sounds like you are at a concert
