A: The speakers you need are 8000 and they have not been made for a couple of years . I bought the 8500s and the would not connect. I looked for them on Ebay they had a new set for $350. I contacted Samsung and the told me they were discontinued.

A: Yes, the orientation of the subwoofer is not relevant to its operation.
A: I thought it has good volume. Made my neighbors mad downstairs haha. But Best Buy has a good return exchange program. Test it out. Hope this helps.
A: Yes that's true...is the same model that 450...The Samsung Tv recognized it like this model but are the same products...is just a Best Buy unique model number.
