“Does this fridge ship with a filter and water line/hose? I can't tell from the product description or specs if the filter and hose needed for hook-up are included or if they have to be purchased separately.”

The filter is included and a whole lot easier to change out than our old one that required the unit to be rolled out to expose the rear. This filter is accessible from the front, inside. We declined the water line which was offered at a reasonable cost. Used the one from our previous refrigerator.

We keep running water through it but the taste is not as good as it was on our Amana refrigerator. The only option they gave us was to return the refrigerator which would be a pain so we will just have to buy a Brita water purifier to keep in the frig.
