press the ice button down and it falls. Choose crushed or cubed option.

There is a lever/release at the bottom of the Ice drawer. It is tight but will release. Pull at the same time you push the release in.

Thanks for the question. I'm not sure why you would want to empty the ice maker, but if your goal is to bleed the lines, then pressing the test button on the ice maker after disconnecting the water should allow you to accomplish that; see page 23 of the User Manual for the location of the Test button. If what you actually want to do is empty the ice bucket to discard the ice that's contained there, then you can simply press the lever on the side of the bucket to release it, then pull it out and dump the ice.
