Worried. well it is not in the middle of the night its. So loud my husband. Thought someone was breaking into our house.It is onthe other side of the house too.Called best buy they told me to call Samsung its under they warranty. 1St year.So I called them they told me its best buy problem. called best buy its Samsung. Problem. Ok now have done this 4x.Neither admit. It there problem. so much. For warranty. I love the refg except. For this not even a months. Old .I find after that other. People. Have this and it has been fixed. So 5heyknow onthe problem.”

Unfortunately it appears that the reason for the confusion is the fact that there are a variety of noises a refrigerator can make, some of which are normal and can be minimized with basic installation adjustments or troubleshooting, and others that may require service. Here are the basic troubleshooting tips that can be found in the User Manual: • Check if the refrigerator is level and stable. • Is the back of the refrigerator too close to the wall, preventing proper ventilation? Try moving the back of the refrigerator at least 2 inches from the wall. • Was anything dropped behind or under the refrigerator? • If you hear a “ticking” sound from inside the refrigerator, this is normal. It occurs because various parts contract or expand in response to temperature changes in the refrigerator interior. • If it sounds as if something is hitting something else inside the refrigerator, this is normal. The sound is caused by the compressor operating at high capacity. If this doesn't help resolve the issue, please refer to the "Answers" link and online "Troubleshooting Guide" on Samsung's website, where you can also find a service request submission form for further assistance.
