• Yes it comes out cold. If you are dispensing a lot of water at one time some won't be as cold because it can only hold so much at one time chilled. How much it keeps chilled I don't know.

• Water from the dispenser comes out ice cold, and if you keep the filter changed out regularly its clean tasting, as well.

• Samsung Refrigerators are designed to dispense water that is cold, as long as the amount held in the holding tank within the Refrigerator (about 1-2 liters) spends enough time there to chill to the temperature at which the Refrigerator is set. If water is dispensed at a faster rate than it can cool, then it could conceivably be closer to the temperature of your cold tap water. Thanks for your question, Ms. Samsung
