I can only answer one of your questions. The door display shows the temperature inside the main refrigerator and the freezer. I do not know the accuracy and I don't know if there is any notification if the temperature rises too high.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The display monitor did not always accurately reflect the internal temp. and was off as much as six degrees often. I know this because I have a "Genius" refrigerator deodorizer device that was placed in the refrigerator and has a temp. gauge on it. Most of the time the internal temp. was within 2 degrees but dropped drastically when the doors were opened a few times. I returned two of this model Samsung which I purchased to replace a Samsung that was only two years old and was making loud popping sounds and not cooling properly; the milk in the door was reading 45 degrees while the refrigerator temp. was set at 36 degrees? That being said; I am not a fan of Samsung.
