Thanks for the question. It isn't unusual for the Washer to fill with different amounts of water when different cycles or options are selected, and the automatic weight sensor also helps determine how much water will be added. It's likely that the conditions you're trying to imitate with the different settings will behave differently with clothes in the Washer than with an empty drum. Also, in a Normal cycle, the initial fill is not representative of the amount of water used for the full wash. The nature of HE front loaders is to saturate the clothes in a mixture of soap and water and tumble them, but not to immerse them, and more water is added at different points in the cycle based on the selected options, soil level, and number of rinses needed. I hope this helps to answer you're question. If you find that there isn't enough water to saturate the clothes and they aren't coming clean, please make sure the hot and cold water valves are turned on all the way, the supply hoses are unkinked and there are no obstructions in the hoses or in the inlet hose screens on the back of the washer. If this doesn't help to resolve the issue, please contact Samsung directly through the online support form or by calling 800-SAMSUNG. - Ms. Samsung
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Front loaders use very little water so the solution your clothes are washing in is much more concentrated. Remember the clothes have a lot of water in them when the machine fills so it looks like there's less water in the machine than there really is. I was really skeptical at first but this is my second front loader and my clothes are always cleaner than when I had a top loader. Worry not!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. At this point I'm guessing because I use the efficiency washing mode. It appears to sense how much water is needed to get the clothes wet and to wash. All of my clothes are wet when I remove them to place in the dryer. We had the same concern that it didn't appear to be enough water to wash the clothes. I think it's to reduce water usage, but could contact Samsung customer service to get a definitive answer.
