“I'm looking to purchase this washer, but so many reviews say that it's very loud and shakes violently. Is there a way to prevent or minimize that?”

• My washer does shake but only for a few seconds. The washer has a self balancing system so when it first starts spinning if its load is uneven it shakes but then the washer stops adds some water and turns both directions for a few. After that it tries again to spin up to full speed. Sometimes it takes a couple of trys to get the load balanced but, once its balanced it is usually so quiet I have to go into the laundry room to see if its still on.

• I have this machine and it is quiet and doesn't shake at all. You must level it when setting up or it will shake as with any machine.
