Washers do not have special power requirements. They use the same plug as a microwave (nema 5-15P) made for US 115v or like a desktop computer.

Hi Nanny, this washer is equipped with a power cord. Its a standard 120 Volt 60 Hz plug. When installing you will need a 15 AMP fuse/breaker for it. ^Rosi
