“My current machine is a front-load w/various spin speeds. Lower for delicate clothes. This machine only has one spin speed. Is the top load gentler on clothes, is that why only one speed? Thank you”

• Hi Cindy, We appreciate your question about the speed setting the washer has. This Samsung washer model uses Samsung’s “Fuzzy Control” automatic control system. When you select a wash program, the machine will set the correct temperature, washing time, and washing speed. It may appear that this Samsung washing machine has 1 speed but has various speed set automatically depending on the wash program selected. Leo
