“It is taking a very long time for clothes to dry. I had an older model, of the same Samsung Dryer, and there was a water reservoir that I would pull out, and drain. This unit does not have that. How do we get rid of water that is removed, from the clothes”

With both my prior Samsung washer and dryer, which I had for about 5 years and the current set don't have an of these issues. The clothes dry in the default 42 minutes.
