Left, but it can be on either side thanks to the use of flexible gas line to connect it.

Samsung recommends installing the gas line for the NX58H5600SS within a 17" wide by 9" high area behind the lower left side of the Range on the wall, or if installed through the floor, it should be within 17" of the left side and no more than 2" from the wall. If this is unclear, I'd suggest referring to the Install Guide that comes with the Range for an illustrated view of the recommended gas and electric areas, since I'm unable to attach a diagram to this answer. - Ms. Samsung
