“Soap opera effect I've heard that many people do not like the soap opera effect that the Samsung 4K tv have. From what I have seen in the stores, I think I like the effect. But I wonder if I might not like it once it's at home. How do you feel about that effect?”

• I'm not a fan of the soap opera effect but the TV is programmable to have it or not. It's up to you.

• Really don't understand the soap opera effect. The picture is like you are there. So yes it blows your mind. It looks real. Like watching some movies ir Netflix for example its like things are happening in front of you.

• I've had TV's that have this effect, but the Samsung UN65J8500 doesn't have this at all. Great picture and smooth flow that doesn't look overdone. Great set.
