This is a vented dryer, meaning it removes water from clothes using heat and airflow, then expels the moisture-laden air through a vent to the outside. It appears your previous dryer may have been a ventless model, possibly a condenser dryer—though we can confirm this with the exact model number. Condenser dryers do not require external venting; instead, moisture is either pumped out through a drain or collected in a reservoir that must be emptied manually. For more assistance, we've included a helpful link from Samsung. It offers troubleshooting tips and additional support, and includes hyperlinks you can click for more detailed guidance: Clothes are not dry after using the Samsung dryer: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10001001/#dryer-cycle-takes-too-long Should you need more assistance, please feel free to get back to us via the following options: 1.
