• You don’t have to stack them. I have them side by side and they are stand alone.

• I'm so glad you asked, KH! While this dryer does have the option to be stacked on top of the matching washer, it does not have to be stacked. ^Jecca

• You can use it as a stand alone. If you chose to pair with a matching stackable washer there is a separate piece you must buy to stack them.
