It is SATA3.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This drive is native SATA III 6Gb/S interface, and it is backwards compatible to SATA II 3Gb/S interfaces. It is probably backwards compatible with SATA 1.5Gb/S but the hit on performance with that interface would depreciate it to where it wouldn't be much better than a quality hard drive. I perform tests with an Intel G41 chipset board before installation, which has SATA 3Gb/S interface, and then install it into something newer with a 6Gb/S SATA interface and it performs nicely with either (better performance with 6Gb/S, of course).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Samsung 860 EVO are SATA iii. I have purchased twelve drives for use in a RAID in four PC’s. They are definitely SATA iii.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.MZ-76E250B/AM is the SSD 860 EVO 2.5" SATA III 250GB. This drive is a SATA III drive, however, it will connect to SATA II and SATA interfaces as well, but the speeds will be reduced from 6Gbps to 3Gbps or 1.5Gbps, respectively. I hope this helps you.
