• When you hit "Pause," it unlocks it so you can add additional clothes. Then push the "Start" button again.

• Yes. Simply press the Start/Pause button and the door will unlock. I'm not sure if more water will be added.

• Yes the washer allows you to add items after the start of the wash cycle

• Yes, you can add items after a cycle has started. There's a "Start/Pause" button that will pause the cycle and unlock the lid. Then you press it again to restart the cycle. Easy.
