“How does the battery get replaced when it fails?”

• With great difficulty. T mobile told me you just buy a new phone! There are videos on you tube. These phones are glued together so you have to heat the phone to soften the glue before prying them apart. I hope they don't start making cars with non replaceable batteries. TOO MUCH GREED !!!

• The battery is not removable by the user and you would have to bring it to an authorized Samsung repair center for replacement. The good news is in most cases by the time the battery does need to be replaced it will be time for a new phone anyway.
