WHY CAN'T THE NOTE 8 BE PRE ORDERED IN GOLD? null

The gold and blue variant are not available in the U.S.

Because its limited to certain providers. So Gold and Blue will be limited to Canada carriers, but eventually they will give the other 2 colors in the US. Its how they keep you wanting more. I wanted the Blue but with the carrier trade in and best buy $150 off just order a case to change the color. Or wait 3-6 months for the Gold to come out.
