A:AnswerI bought the note 8 last night after reading the fine print 10 times. I did NOT have to change my plan. I kept my 2 gig plan. Had I bought this through Verizon I would have been forced to get an unlimited plan. Best Buy has a better deal than Verizon
A:AnswerThe price you see (24.41) is per month for 24 months added to your current phone bill. That's a really good deal saving you 374 dollars total off the phone. So that's saving you 15.59 per month off the total cost of the phone. Original price is 40 per month which = $960 total, sale price is 24.41 per month which = $585.84 total price. You will probably have to pay taxes on the original price of 960 plus a 30 activation fee..Hope this helps!
A:AnswerMost definitely! They synced my phone, dealt with my carrier and happily gave me another Note 8 due to a defective battery. So, in essence, they did the set up twice and always with a smile.
A:AnswerIf you qualify for an upgrade you can get the current deal with Verizon. I was eligible for upgrade and got a good deal on the phone and accessories.
A:AnswerI just talked to Verizon Rep and they said that if purchased from BestBuy all you would have to do is log-in to MyVerizon app and goto the bottom of the screen and select trade-in program, fill out the information and they would send a prepaid shipping box for your old phone and a receipt that needs to be signed showing what your trade-in amount will be.
A:AnswerEdd,
When you trade an eligible device to Verizon Wireless the credit that you'll receive (actual amount depends on what phone you trade-in) will be split up over the course of 24 months, while your making payments on the phone. If your eligible for a $480 dollar credit with your trade-in, you'd see a $20 dollar credit on your statement each month. The really FINE PRINT here is that you will only continue to get that $20 dollar a month credit (for 24 months) so long as you are still paying off the phone. So...should you choose for what ever reason to pay off your phone after 12 months you will not continue to receive a $20 dollar credit each month for the remainder of the 24 month term. You will have forfeited the remaining $240 dollars in credits, and Verizon will re-calculate your devices trade-in value. In addition to this, if you pay off your phone early and or cancel your service before the 24 months are up, Verizon will re-calculate your trade in amount to the non promotional trade-in value, less what they've already paid you in credits. For example, if you pay your device off after 12 months, and the regular trade-in value for your phone is $250 dollars you'd only receive an additional $10 dollar credit, however, if your devices trade-in value is $239 dollars or less, you might (don't quote me on this) actually owe Verizon for the difference between what they've already credited you, and the non promotional value of your device.
Before everyone starts screaming that this policy is BS, look at it from Verizon's perspective. If you were allowed to pay off your device early and or jump ship but continue to receive monthly credits, you'd have no incentive (or very little) to stay with Verizon for the remainder of the 24 months. You may choose to stay regardless, that I don't know, but without this policy people would abuse the promotion. People would be immediately canceling their service once they got the phone and then selling it on eBay or swappa for a hefty profit.
Essentially this promotion is Verizon's way of saying that you may not be locked into a contract but if you trade in your device (and buy a new one) and promise to stay with us for 2 years we'll give you extra money for your old device.
If you don't like the idea of having the credits divided up across 24 months, you do have another option. Trade-in your device to Verizon for the regular trade-in value, and you'll get a credit or gift card for the full value all at once, it just won't be for the higher promotional trade-in value, or sell it privately.
Hope this helps answer your question.
Best Regards
A:Answerno trade in required. simply buy it, you pay the taxes on the full phone price, and do the 24 month pay plan. best buy gives the $350 credit toward the plan
so it knocks it down to just under $25
A:AnswerDEF1,
After you've activated your new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 bring your old device into a CORPORATE Verizon wireless store to trade it in. Make sure that you factory reset your device before you hand it over, and disable any locks that are enabled.
A:AnswerJust received an email for BestBuy notifying me that my Note 8 has been shipped and will arrive tomorrow. So I logged into verizonwireless.com, selected Device Trade-in Program under Service & Support at the lower left part of the webpage. Then followed directions on the screen. Verizon will be sending me a box to return the G6. Received $480 for the G6 as stated on the BestBuy website. It was very easy.
A:Answerthey dont do contracts anymore. They do the monthly installments to pay off the phone for 24mo (which is pretty much a contract). the price you see online is the price you will be paying in installments (it reflects the $350 off from the original price).
A:AnswerI've seen the same thing today. Visited the store and they told me they were also having sporadic trouble on-site with activation of the Deepsea Blue color on Verizon. So it sounds like the best thing to do is keep trying online until they resolve their issues, or call the store to confirm that everything is working there.
