• I purchased the Note 8 from Best Buy and then went to my online account at Verizon and did a trade in with my Galaxy 6 Edge+ and got the $336 savings (35%) that the ad promised. I would try to go online to trade in your Note 5 and see what happens. Maybe the website will give you the 50%.
