is the galaxy s7 much of an improvement over the s6? null

The battery is NOT REMOVABLE. I bought one for my son. I own an S5 which does have a cover you can take off thank God as it will freeze up at times and there is no other way to solve that issue but to remove battery. The unlocked S7 does NOT have a removable back, which I hate. No way to replace the battery or remove it if the phone freezes up. Samsung should have left the removable backs alone instead of trying to be like Apple.

Yes. And the battery is removable so if it dies, you aren't suddenly dead in the water.
