We recently bought this same phone and activated it with Straight Talk. It did take about 2 hours to complete because we had to call them and they had to do something on their end to make it active, the BYOP instructions did not work and are not real helpful. We also created our own account exactly like the instructions said but it kept telling us that our email was not compatible. So that required them setting that up too. It works with the phone just annoying to set up. It took way longer than I would have liked.
