• You would need to be more specific, I have one and have received Android 7.0 update and security patches every 3 months since purchase.

• I don't know about anyone else but I much prefer unlocked, this way you have the ability to switch carriers easily... and I get updates for my phone all the time from Samsung, have one waiting to install now.
