You pretty much buy this phone. Then call up Sprint and tell them you want to use this phone on the network. They should ask for the ESN/IMEI number so they could whitelist it in their system and that's it. You may need a new SIM, if you don't have a nano-SIM already.

Then you just take the phone to the Sprint store, and pay a nominal charge for a new micro SIM card. Your old phone will eventually stop working for call (very soon after changeover).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm with AT&T but am guessing it's the same routine. I backed up everything before I started. Then set up my mail box and various accounts just as I would do with an AT&T bought phone. Finally, I pulled the card from my old phone into my new phone and I was done. Pretty simple but I don't have a lot on my phone so maybe mine was easier.

This phone uses the Nano Sim card so if your current phone uses a Nano Sim card you should be able to just swap out Sim cards. If your current phone uses something other than a Nano sim card you will need to go to Sprint and purchase (might be free but most likey not) the Sim card.
