Is the tab a good for reading in sun? null

No it washs out.A good tablet(which i own is the kindle Fire 8" tablet which is great in sunlight,and one i recommend for reading.And it,s cheaper than Galaxy,but sadly uses the Amazon System.The "Showmode" feature that just came out on Fire tablets is wonderful,and makes it a great buy though!Also Battery life on Amazon Fire 8" is incredible at 11-12 hours.

Yes, ofcourse it all depends on your brightness settings.
