A:AnswerHello Glamgal. You can check with the retailer where you purchased the device to see if you are able to swipe the device out for another one if the device was scratched when you took it out of the box. You can also give us a call at 1-800-samsung and we will be more than happy to assist you. Thanks for reaching out to us. ^Monique
A:AnswerWe didn't want the watch to have its own data plan and just wanted to use it Bluetooth connected to the phone. We were told by the Best Buy salesman, "this is absolutely doable, and if we should ever want to get the watch its own data plan, all it took was a phone call to our carrier to activate the eSIM built into the watch." There appears to be only one model of this watch and it can be used with its own data plan (SIM card) or tethered via Bluetooth.
A:AnswerHey Concernbuyer. I have provided for you a link that gives you the information about your Galaxy Watch and all of its capabilities. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00078019/ Thanks for reaching out to us. ^Monique
A:AnswerNot easily.
This would be the reason to look at getting the Geek Squad Protection which will cover the watch battery for two years along with accidental damage.
A:AnswerYes and it also does take calls as long as you are Bluetooth connected and in range.
It will also automatically use the same wifi your phone has remembered in case you walk too far away from ypur Bluetooth connection. With WiFi, you still get ypur online updates, but not sure about calls.
A:AnswerWorks with your existing cell phone through Bluetooth. You can make and receive calls and text with the 42 and 46mm versions. None of the Active versions have speakers if you look into those but yes this 42mm does.
