Is this watch compatable with the galaxy note 9? Also does it take calls? Or do you have to have a separate line connected? null

Yes and it also does take calls as long as you are Bluetooth connected and in range. 
It will also automatically use the same wifi your phone has remembered in case you walk too far away from ypur Bluetooth connection. With WiFi, you still get ypur online updates, but not sure about calls.
