“The metal part of my watch seems to be like tarnished or scratched in a way, is there a way to fix this issue? I don't do nothing too drastic with it on a daily basis other than wash my hands and work while sitting.”

You can check with the retailer where you purchased the device to see if you are able to swipe the device out for another one if the device was scratched when you took it out of the box.
